Juventus have pulled off a major coup in signing Portuguese centre-back Tiago Djalo from Lille for a fee of around 12 million euros.
The centre-back is seen as one of Portugal’s best defenders and Juve have beaten the likes of Liverpool, Genoa and Marseille to secure the Amadora-born player.
Dialo began his career in his home country, before a move to AC Milan followed in 2019. The player was not able to make the grade at the San Siro, and was almost immediately sold to French side Lille in the summer of 2019 for a cut price 5 million euros. Djalo has excelled in France.
