Transparency POST❗️ : : 1st of November and not feeling like myself a lot lately. I haven’t been showing up as I should be for my family, myself and supporters. I keep re-living things I no longer have or access to. Sometimes I wonder how my life would be right now if I didn’t pack my things and leave the “acting career” I’ve always dreamt of. : : Having anxiety and some sort of depression pretty much lurks around 8/10 of my days because I miss being the badass woman I was once… don’t get me wrong, being a full time stay at home mom and running an online business is a luxury not a lot of us could have. But it isn’t for me, I can’t be creative when I have a wild toddler (crying, climbing and running around). Good for mamas who can do it all! But I need help. I need a tribe! : : I seem to long for more ladies night, ALONE time and just to be away from home because of the anxiety and depression I feel (completely wanting to shut off my family). No one will ever fully understand until you experience it. It doesn’t help that I am not where I want to be in life at almost 31, but I know GOD brought me where I need to be. : : I just want to share what I am going through because you are not alone! We’re all human and we have the right to feel and get stuck at times. Whether you are going through a big transition in life or simply experiencing anxiety or stress about life/work/family…don’t keep it inside! Talk to someone, cry if you must and move forward like a real bad a** woman that you are!!! ✨

Yesterday was #mentalhealthawarenessday. Did you know that exercising or doing any form of movement (jogging, cycling, hiking) can help aid with depression? : : Can I be completely raw and honest? One of the main reasons I got so hooked with training is to help with anxiety & postpartum depression. Being in a new environment while transitioning from 3 things all at once gave me so much anxiety! In 2016, I went to Texas to train for Culinary (went through a break up, then found love again). 2017 I got pregnant, moved back to U.S (this was a huge decision), gave birth in October and battled with postpartum depression and in March 2018 I lost my father. Holy sh*t that’s a lot to take because if you knew my childhood story, you would be a mess.Those moments still linger and it triggers me from time to time. : : The only thing that kept me sane was getting an endorphin high! (Happy hormones). Your Body & Mind are the only 2 things you can take control of!!! You control what you eat, say and do on the daily. Up to this day, getting that 1 hour “me time” away from my wild child gives me sanity. If you’re a full time stay at home mom like me, you know how stressful it can be. The devil works when you’re vulnerable and lonely. When I train, I don’t think of anyone else but myself. How it makes me feel from the inside out (it’s freaking empowering)!🙋🏽‍♀️ : : I’m here to help you train. I will provide customized workout (home/gym) with meal plans to help you with your goals. Monday Motivation! — — How to live in AUTHENTICITY? What does that even mean??? Well, let me tell you. Do you find yourself comparing your life to others? Specially with social media these days… it is so easy to get in a rut and not feel good about ourselves. Let me remind you that we are all unique! We all have our strengths, weaknesses, talents etc…. So remember this: — — 1. Accept that you are truly forgiven. Ephesians 1:7 2. Celebrate who YOU are- everyone is unique! Embrace it!!!!! Don’t ever compare yourself to others. Stop trying to be someone else. Everyone else is already taken(Let that sink in). 3. Practice the art of being real. Vulnerability and transparency. 4. Recognize that your are a work in progress. To all my new fellow mamas… it is very important to heal and strengthen our inner core (Transverse Abdominis) specially after giving birth. Ha! I feel you! TMI, but we don’t want no accident when we sneeze, laugh or cough… do we? I am guilty and this is why I incorporated these “Core Foundation” Movements 1 1/2 year ago when I started my postpartum journey. Your pelvic floor is what holds your bladder and reproductive organs and attaches to the front and back of your pelvis. These muscles work 24/7! They coexist with the TA to stabilize the core. These will help to heal and bridge the gap if you have Diastasis Recti. Of course, always consult with a physical therapist if you’re unsure about the severity of your DR. : : 1. TA CRUNCH- activate your transverse abdominis by using the TA breath and the concentric phase of the crunch( exhale as you crunch up). 2. QUADRUPED TA Bracing- start on all fours. Let your stomach relax down towards the ground, keep your spine neutral. Tighten your abdominals by drawing your belly button up towards your spine away from the floor. Hold, relax and repeat. Breathe. 3. Modified PLANK- begin by lying on your stomach with elbows on the ground directly under your shoulders. Tighten your abdominals, tuck your toes and press yourself up into a modified plank position keeping knees on the ground. Hold 10 seconds and then return to starting position. Friday mood! 💦 — — Tag a friend who would like to do this! Recently started incorporating more core exercises in my routine. Trust me, I’ve got a long way to go! Although I have some definition, don’t let it fool you. My core and lower ab needs work because it’s weak and still soft (Yay to high waisted leggings). — — Oblique crunches 3×10 each side Flutter kicks 3×10 each side Plank ups 3x 10 each side Alternating toe touches 3x 10 each side — — I will be launching my workout guide soon.
